Owner's Engineer Services for 4.5 MW Biomass Fired Power Plant, at Theni, Tamil Nadu, India

Fichtner was retained by the Shree Renuga Textiles Ltd., to provide engineering consultancy for a biomass cogeneration power plant with an electrical rating of 4.5 MW in Tamilnadu. It is fueled with local biomass and agro wastes and comprises a stoker fired boiler and turbine-generator set. The excess steam is used for the process requirement of textile unit.
