Independent Engineer services for the captive berth at Mangalore port for coal handling facilities from ship unloading to rapid wagon loading
Development of the coal terminal consisted of construction of jetty and installation of coal handling facilities covering ship unloaders, coal conveying, stacking and reclaiming and rapid wagon loading system. Plant was commissioned in June 2012. The project involved a 300M long jetty for berthing Panamax ships, 2 x1650 TPH Grab type coal unloaders, 3300TPH coal conveying, stacking and reclaiming system, wagon loading of coal through silos.
