Detailed Engineering for Storm Water Drainage for six Towns in Tamil Nadu
The objective of the assignment is to study, analyse, design and prepare separate DPR for Avadi Municipality near Chennai, for providing an effective storm water drainage system for the area by undertaking a technical, financial, economic, environmental and social study, to prepare a prioritized capital investment plan, detailed designs, drawings, cost estimates and bidding documents for planning and implementation of such investments. Fichtner oversaw the project analysing the flood report and hydrological data and understanding the existing scenario of storm water drains and provided solutions to cater such a large catchment. The assignment fulfilled the basic need and yardstick for measuring infrastructure status.
